We only collect your email address (and name, if supplied) when you contact Heidi through the contact form on this website, or sign up to Heidi’s Newsletter through a form on or through a link to a hosted signup form on social media.

When you email Heidi through the contact form, we have a legitimate interest in processing your contact details in order to reply back to you. When you sign up to Heidi’s newsletter, we have your explicit consent to process your data in order to send you the newsletter.

We will never add your name to Heidi’s newsletter mailing list if you have contacted her through the website – so if you do want to sign up for news, competitions and book offers, etc you will need to do that through a newsletter sign-up form specifically.

We do not share your information with anyone else or any other company for any reason.   However, if we are compelled by law to disclose information, we will do so. After replying to a response through the contact form we will not hold your personal information afterwards for any longer than is necessary. Periodically, we may review our mailing list and remove any members that have been inactive for a long while.

You may request access to, verify, correct, change or remove your personal information or unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time by clicking on the link at the bottom of one of Heidi’s newsletters or by contacting Heidi via this website on the contact page. We take security seriously and use malware-blocking software on this website to keep your data safe.

If you wish to make a complaint about how we process your personal information, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.

This policy will be updated periodically and the most recent version will be available on this page.
